INTERNSHIP DETAILS

Position: Investment Banking Summer Analyst

Group: Healthcare Investment Banking

Timing: Internships generally start at the beginning of summer and end upon your return to school in the fall. Specific dates are flexible as of yet, but more information will be provided at a later date. This is a 10-week paid internship program.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Construct dynamic three statement operating models comprised of bottoms-up, case-driven projections
Conduct detailed financial models including DCF, LBO, and accretion /dilution models, as well as relative valuation analyses including public company comparables and precedent transactions
Assist in preparing Confidential Information Presentations, Management Presentations, and other deal marketing materials
Work alongside Ziegler deal team and client management team to facilitate buyer due diligence processes
Prepare analyses of strategic alternatives and valuation analyses for new business generation and pitch books
Conduct sector research and develop synthesized report on competitors, market dynamics, and industry outlook
Data collection and editing in Microsoft Excel and construction of PowerPoint presentations

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Rising Senior with strong academic standing at a leading university or college
Demonstrated work ethic and willingness to excel in a fast-paced work environment
Proficiency in finance and accounting topics with strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to quickly learn on the job and accurately follow directions

Compensation: Fully paid internship. Housing stipend not included.
